Why order from Eatalian Express?

Eatalian Express’ pastas are made using quality Italian pasta machine (imported directly from Italy) for authencity and we offer various pasta shapes like spaghetti, macaroni, fusilli, star & alphabets.

We travelled all the way to Bologna, Italy (the pasta capital) just to learnt the art of pasta making. This underlines our dedication and commitment to quality and authenticity.

Furthermore, it is important to note that our pasta has gone through MARDI lab analysis . The nutritional facts has been testified and certified by them.

Why buy fresh pasta instead of dry pasta?

The quality of ingredients in fresh pasta are far superior to dried pasta.

For example, the vegetables ingredient in fresh pasta are fresh vegetables. Meanwhile, dried pasta use powdered vegetables. Thus, the nutritients and vitamins contained in fresh pasta is far superior to the dried pasta.

Unlike dried pasta which is mass produced, our fresh pasta is homemade, made to order and free from any chemical or food additives!

The texture, flavor, and variety of fresh pasta is glaringly better. Once you have fresh pasta, you’ll see what you’ve been missing!

Do I need to thaw (defrost) my frozen fresh pasta before cooking?

No need to thaw! Just throw the frozen fresh pasta in boiling water, and you are good to go.  Fresh pasta tends to stick to one another, so we freeze it for your convenience.

How can I keep my pasta from sticking together?

Occasionally, gently stir your pasta during cooking. Once your pasta is cooked, drain the water and gently toss it with oil (olive oil or any other cooking oil).

What is durum wheat semolina & how does it differs to white flour?

Durum wheat is one of the three major types of wheat, the other two being hard or soft. Durum wheat is the hardest of the three, and is grounded to make a semolina flour which is a courser product than the traditional white flour.

White flour meanwhile is the product of soft wheat. Soft wheat flour contains less proteins and absorbs less humidity compared to hard wheat flour.

From a nutritional point of view it contains more proteins than soft wheat flour and the products made from it preserve longer, have a lower glycemic index and contain carotenoids, organic pigments that bond and eliminate antioxidants. The ability of hard wheat to retain the starch contained in it ensures perfect cooking and prevents the pasta from sticking.

A high quality pasta is always made using durum wheat semolina flour like the one that we made at Eatalian Express.

Do you accept Cash On Delivery?

We truly apologize as at at the moment we do not accept cash on delivery (cod). We will only process paid order.

During "Check-Out" I see Coupon Code. What is this and how do I get one?

From time to time we run certain promotions where we give out Coupon Codes. These may be for promotions like free shipping or a discount on your order.

Which area do you deliver?

We deliver to all areas within Klang Valley and selected areas in Penang, Ipoh, Seremban, Melaka and Johor Bahru.

If you want to be certain, you may check our coverage by clicking here. Simply key in your postcode in the search box. The result will return your postcode should it falls within our coverage area.

Why don't you cover more shipping areas?

We are very particular on the handling of our frozen products. No compromise is accepted when it comes to the integrity of our products. As such we only use specialised COLD DELIVERY by reputable company such as Ta-Q-Bin as our courier partner.

Therefore, although we would love to cover the world, we are restricted to cater only for areas that is within the COLD DELIVERY areas by our courier partner, i.e. Ta-Q-Bin.

Note: Do you know that cold delivery charges cost more than double or triple than the normal parcel delivery cost? To lighten your burden, we absorbed the delivery GST and subsidized the packing charges!

Can I come in person to collect/return my order?

We truly apologize but we do not accept walk in at our premise. Instead, if savings on the shipping charges is your concern, may we suggest that you consolidate your order with friends and family.

We do intend to provide limited  FREE SHIPPING coupon code from time to time, but you will have to act fast upon such promotions as the limited coupon code is normally taken up in a very short period. In order to be the first to hear on such promotions, it may be of your best interest to subscribe to our newsletter here.

How much is the shipping charges?

The shipping charges is RM16 per block of 3.2kg (ONLY Klang Valley, and selected areas within Penang, Ipoh, Seremban, Melaka and JB).
Example
0.250kg – 3.200kg = RM16
3.250kg – 6.400kg = RM30

Yes, this flat rates means we absorbed the GST and subsidized any extra packing charges.

How long can I expect to receive my order upon full payment?

Any orders made between Sunday to Wednesday will be delivered at the earliest of 3 days from the ordering date.

As for orders made between Thursday to Saturday, the earliest delivery date will be on Tuesday of the following week.

Note: Subject to our maximum order capacity. For confirmation, kindly refer to the available date slot in the calendar during the checkout process.

Has my order been shipped out yet?

Once your order has been processed and packed, we will notify you through the email your shipment tracking number. Do check your Junk Mail folder in case it is there!

Returns

What is your return policy?

At Eatalian Express, we take great pride in providing our customers with the finest fresh pasta and Italian specialty food products. We are confident that our high quality products will satisfy even the most discerning and knowledgeable consumers, and we are committed to your satisfaction. To that end, if for some reason you are not pleased with your shipment, we want to know about it. Please contact us and include your name, order number, phone number and the reason for your dissatisfaction. A member of our dedicated staff will contact you promptly.

If you are not satisfied for any reason with the product, you may return your purchase for a replacement or in store credit refund within 30 days of receipt.

Will you refund me my return delivery charges?

Shipping costs are borne by the customer and we are not liable until item reaches our premise.
